Fever 100 f 5 day after breast augmentation is th normal ?
Answer: Fever after breasts augmentation Dear Greeny, Front picture of your breasts would have been helpful. Fever is not normal in any situation and the question is why do you have fever, especially, 5 days after surgery. You did not reveal any other symptoms or signs associated with your breasts . Are they red, swollen painful ? That can be also from the surgery itself and that is why you have to contact your surgeon as soon as possible , to rule out early stage infection, that when treated early can avoid penetration of the infection into the implants cavity, which might require removal of the implants. Of course you might have just a cold , which is the best of all world for you, but again, let your surgeon make that determination, which might save your implants. Best of luck, Dr Widder

Answer: Breast Augmentation Recovery Greeny2018. A fever is considered to be 101°F or higher. Your temperature is within the higher range of normal. As long as you feel OK and you do not have excessive pain in your breasts, I would not worry. As a precaution however, you should check in with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck.

Answer: Temperature Thanks for your question. Temperature can commonly be elevated the first few days after surgery due to the inflammatory process initiated by the surgery itself, but it is always a good idea to be checked in person by your surgeon if there is any question that an infection might be the cause. Best of luck with your recovery!
