Fat transfer on face, will it be symmetrical? 1 day post op. (photos)

Don't worry. It will most definitely improve. I always have to recommend you contact your surgeon first of all.  There are many factors at play. # 1 swelling and edema is always somewhat asymmetrical. This can be from as simple as laying on one side more than the other. It can also be from need to thread the cannula more forcefully on one side. Surgeons who do a lot of this have seen it all. This is well within the realm of normal. Be patient. By 2 wks I suspect you will be much happier. 

Hello. Thanks for the photos. Facial healing post-fat transfer will be asymmetric, this is normal. When the swelling has subsided, it will be easier to see the symmetry. It could take 2-3 weeks for facial swelling to decrease. Sounds like the thigh is bruised, it will heal as well. Make sure to follow-up with your surgeon. Try to rest easy, it will help your healing.  

It is impossible to make any assessment regarding the results of your surgery 6 hours after the procedure. Try to relax, keep your head elevated, and follow your surgeon's post op recomendations. Things should even out in a few days. Good luck.

Hi and thanks for your question. It is certainly very common for swelling to be more prominent on one side causing the asymmetry that you are seeing. I would try and be patient and wait it out. Likely, it will resolve with time and the final result will be what you were anticipating.  Hope this helps you sleep better.
