Allow me to answer your question as best i can based upon your photos. However, please keep in mind that an in-person consultation with physical exam, or at least a virtual consultation, is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations are made.

In general, cosmetic hip implants are the most reliable, predictable, and permanent option for filling in the hip dips and creating more of that feminine hourglass figure, whether slim or not. On the other hand, fat transfer to the hip area tends to survive quite poorly in most patients and thus produces only short term results (often less than 10-12 months). Injections/fillers such as Sculptra ir hyaluronic acids are cost prohibitive (i.e. guaranteed to be the biggest waste of money of your entire lifetime), short lasting and possibly deadly with high volume injections. Others such as silicone/PMMA/hydrogels/etc are cheap but extremely dangerous and a personal commitment to a life of serious and sometimes deadly consequences. Typically hip implants are best custom designed and created for each individual patient’s anatomy. Because an extremely few number of board-certified plastic surgeons perform this procedure, make sure you seek consultation with a reputable and experienced cosmetic hip implant specialist. You may have to travel a long distance from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.

Hi, In order to give the desired shape to your body, excess fat in the waist and abdomen can be removed by liposuction and then transferred to the desired area in the desired amount. You are suitable for this as far as I can see from the photos. 

Yes, you have sufficient fat for a BBL. In my experience a lot of people will over estimate the amount of fat needed for a BBL and they will gain weight for their BBL. But most of the time the weight goes to the viscera--they put on internal or visceral fat--fat we cannot remove with liposuction and they end up having to lose weight after surgery. You have very little fat in multiple areas. Liposuction of several areas may yield enough fat to transfer, but in truth, you look very good now. A physical exam would be needed in your case to confirm that it is possible/beneficial.

Everyone has enough fat for some fat transfer. The question is really one of what are you trying to achieve and is that reasonable or possible.

Personally I see no indication for fat transfer anywhere on your body so there’s that. fat transfer to the hips can be blended along the entire thigh and onto the buttocks and even the front of the thigh in some cases and this can consume large amounts of fat for even modest results because it is done over a large area. Other times we’re filling in a very small area and 100 mL of fat may be sufficient. When it comes to harvesting fat those who have a low BMI may need more areas treated with liposuction. For example I typically treat the entire torso as a single anatomic unit and that is usually enough for most fat transfer procedures but when it’s not by then add arms and or inner thighs for example.

What patients with a low BMI need to ask themselves is not do they have enough fat but are they willing to have liposuction of their entire body.

Doing so is a lot of surgery, it’s expensive and will leave them with a fairly high number of small potentially visible scars.

In your case I just don’t see any areas that would benefit from adding volume. The word hips can have different meanings for different people in terms of actual anatomic location. to me hips means love handles and it’s usually an area that is reduced with Liposuction almost universally.

Different doctors will have different opinions and different philosophies on how to approach these procedures. this is just my opinion. That said my practice has been devoted exclusively to liposuction and fat transfer procedures for over a decade. I do a lot of these procedures.
