I have taken my first fraxel all overy face a month before but unfortunately i did not notice any improvement in my skin and now i m very much confused about my next treatment either i should go further or not???? And should i use minocycline for acne in between my fraxel treatments???
Answer: Should I Continue Fraxel If I Did Not Notice Improvement? May Need Three Fraxel Treatments Fraxel works by stimulating the skin to produce more collagen and elastin, which improves its health. This is a process that takes some time. It may be that you won’t see results for 2 to 3 months. If you’re feeling uncertain, I’d suggest waiting a little longer before moving onto your next treatment. Also, if you haven’t done so already, take your “before” pictures now so you can compare them after your treatments. Sometimes we change so gradually that we don’t notice the improvements taking place. Finally, treating acne often takes a multipronged approach. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who is an expert at treating acne and can offer you other therapies that might enhance Fraxel’s effects, such as chemical peels and microneedling.

Answer: Stubborn Acne I recommend not using Minocycline between Fraxel as it can cause you to be photosensitive. Fraxel to reduce the appearance of acne scarring may take multiple treatments (3-4). The number of treatments is based on how your body heals. I recommend that you see the treating physician and make sure they now how you feel about the first treatment. Good Luck!

Answer: Fraxel Results--add microneedling/prp for better outcomes This is difficult to answer without before and after pictures. I always combine lasers with microneedling/prp for more robust outcomes. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for recommendations. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Fraxel treatments Improvement of any skin condition after any laser will take 2-3 months to see full improvement. Additionally, fraxel is a fractionated treatment the will treat a percentage of your skin with each treatment. You need to complete the Fraxel series in order to see the benefits you desire as one treatment is not ever going to be enough to accomplish your goals. Good luck with your transformation.

Answer: Fraxel may not be the answer. Before and after photos at 10 weeks will be best, as this will give an unbiased opinion regarding treatments. The question is -' is Fraxel the best treatment? ' and 'what are you wanting to achieve?' Rather than go for a treatment, specialist find a solution. For example, for sun damage, Fraxel is an excellent laser, but for acne scarring, there are many better solutions. I hope this answer helps. Additional for some cases (e.g.. chest and décolletage rejuvenation, it may take 2-4 Fraxel laser sessions to achieve the desired outcomes.) All the best, Dr Davin Lim.
