Botox results last up to 3 to 4 months and can be softened with Venus Legacy and Thermage treatments. If you're still experiencing the same issues after 3-4 mos, I would recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  Depending on the facial I would recommend allowing your skin to fully heal before another treatment.  Give yourself at least 5-7 days based on your recovery.  Hope this helps.

Would taking Manuka honey which is shown to have trace amounts of botulism affect botox and create resistance?

There are no known studies that suggest any negative interactions between honey and Botox. Consumption of Manuka honey should not effect your results. I would suggest consulting with the rendering physician regarding concerns such as this. Best, Dr. Emer.
