I have read many reviews about sculptra. Post facelift, rhinoplasty, and complex eye surgery (eyes done by Dr. Ghafouri and she did a wonderful job). I am a male 60 that works out regularly. Had lost volume in my face and tried traditional fillers which were metabolized way too quickly. Dr. G. recommended trying Sculptra. I have now had 2 sessions of 3 vials each and will have a third. The outcome is coming along very nicely. I am very happy with the results so far and anticipate another great result with Dr. G. As you know from the various reviews the key is getting the best expert for the injections. Dr. Ghafouri is EXCELLENT. She is extremely careful with the injections. They are somewhat painful but between one Vicodan and the numbing cream its not as bad as some have said. If you want the best. Go see Dr. Ghafouri. You will not be disappointed! She is exceptionally trained in both ophthalmology and is a board certified facial plastic surgeon. She is one of the most personable doctors I have ever met. She has a wonderful eye for aesthetics and will never overdue you.
I am a male, 60 and had had an upper bleph in the past that went fine. I needed a lower bleph, update of my upper. Dr. G as an expert opth surgeon and occulo facial plastic surgeon was recommended by a top flight plastic surgeon to handle my case because it was complex. She performed an upper, lower bleph along with a browpexy. She recommended a full face laser and some filler. I could not be happier with the result. She is an artist. And one of the nicest doctors I have ever dealt with. Her post op care was exceptional and I would highly highly highly recommend her.
I was sent to Dr G by another well known plastic surgeon because my procedure was going to be a bit more complex than normal. I needed a redo of an upper bleph, a lower bleph and later browpexy. I met with Dr. G who is not only a board certified opth. but an oculo facial and reconstructive plastic surgeon. She also did a full face laser and botox/filler post op. The results are amazing. She is not only a wonderfully qualified surgeon, but she is also a wonderful person. She has a great personality and really cares about you and the work she does. I will continue to see her for anything my eyes ever need. I would unequivocally recommend her!
I am a 55 year old woman and as I have aged, my eyelids have drooped. I was at the point of needing to lift the eyelid to even apply my mascara. After research, I decided to have a blepharoplasty (removal of excess skin and tissue) . The procedure began with Dr. Ghafouri meticulously marking the upper eyelids to form a line where her incisions would be made. She then put drops in my eyes and injected topical anesthetic into the eyelids. She then made her incisions, removed the excess tissue and sutured the incisions with absorbable suture. The entire procedure took only an hour. I am extremely happy with the results. My eyelids had are now more prominent and people are telling me how great it looks!
My surgeon was kind compassionate very caring. I had to call with a question and got right back to me during the weekend. I was very happy with the results and I would HIGHlY recommend her to any of the my friends and or family. The recovery was very short. I did not have any pain or problems. Her Staff was very kind and caring as well!
Dr. Ghafouri was so caring and kind. She was very honest with what you need and do not need for the filler. I would recommend her to all my family and friends! Her willingness to just sit and talk made me feel very at ease. Her bedside manner went beyond my expectations! Such a great experience!
Hi @BellaBellissima, Could you upload a more recent photo? Judging from the photo that you've shared, it seems that this may be bruising, a common side effect when using filler in such a sensitive area. To minimize bruising and swelling in the future, I'd recommend applying an organic arnica gel and icing regularly post lip-augmentation. Just to be sure, I would recommend seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon nearby to rule out necrosis as a possibility. Hope this heals and good luck! Dr. Roya Ghafouri Beverly Hills, CA
Hi there....This is a discussion you would need to have with your neurologist first. If he or she feels comfortable then perhaps you would be a suitable candidate...I would discuss options including injectables like fillers and upper eyelid surgery with your neurologist as well and then seeking an oculoplastic surgeon for evaluation. Best, Dr Roya
Hi there…..Fillers can sometimes be used to attain symmetry. In your picture you have some eyebrow asymmetry as well. Symmetry can be attained with a combination of fillers and neurotoxin. I suggest consulting with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist, plastic surgeon, or oculoplastic surgeon regarding this. Best, Dr. Roya
When you apply Latisse to the eyebrows, you should continue using the applicators. Place 1-2 drops on the applicator and apply to the eyebrows as though you are combing through your eyebrow. You should notice eyebrow growth as you would with your eyelashes. You can even space out the applications to every couple days if you continue to get adequate growth.
