Cost vary from city to city I would recommend visiting a few Board Certified Plastic Surgeons and find one that you feel comfortable with. Cost Liposuction of the entire abdomen and flanks and lower back range from $6,000-$10,000 depending on where you live. Best wishes
Liposuction cost is variable based upon the demand for the surgeon. Some surgeons will always give conservative results, and some surgeons will always strive to give you the most dramatic results.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
In general, liposuction fees inclusive of facility and anesthesia costs usually runs approximately 3-5 thousand dollars. I would emphasize that you find a board certified plastic surgeon performing these procedures in a licensed facility. Good luckand be safe.JohnT. Liposuction costs are depedent upon the location of the practice, the physicians experience, and the techniques used. Do not compromise your care for cost or distance, find the best physician for the treatment. Best, Dr. Emer.
The fee for liposuction of the abdomen and flanks could vary quite a bit depending on the technique (laser, ultrasound, standard), anesthetic (local, sedation, general) and city. I think you will find that the majority of surgeons will charge in the range of $4500-$6500 for this procedure.
Liposuction of the full abdomen and love handles generally run between $5000-9000 for quality work under local tumescent with the micro cannulas. Cheaper lipos are to be avoided and are usually done with lasers which have a lot of complications and not so good results or are by docs who do lipo the old methods under general anesthesia with the larger cannulas. Sincerely, David Hansen,MD
Depending on the anesthetic used in the size the patient liposuction should cost between 3000 and $5000.
As you can see from all the answers, the cost varies depending on which country you live in, your specific requirement etc.Being a Cosmetic Surgeon, I can help you break this cost down so you have a better idea about what you should be paying for, so that you or anyone else reading this can make a better decision.A systematic approach to analysis of cost of Liposuction or any surgical procedure for that matter, could evaluated based on the following criteria.1. Surgeon FeeThis will depend on the experience and consistent results offered by the surgeon. If the surgeon is charging you more than the standard cost in your country / region then make sure his / her cost matches up to their skills and experience. A simple method of doing this is by going through all patient reviews and testimonials on all platforms including their website.2. Hospital Infrastructure CostThis point is pretty self explanatory. Smaller nursing homes are less equipped and will generally charge you less compared to an Exclusive Aesthetic Centre or a Multi Speciality Hospital. The cost difference is what you pay for all the infrastructure.3. Special Instrument's UsedSome cosmetic surgery procedures require the use of special instruments. Needless to say, these procedures are priced higher to include the usage of the special instruments. If the tariff offered to you isn't adding up, ask to see if the procedure you opted for uses special instruments like lasers etc.4. Duration of ProcedureLonger surgeries and procedures often tend to cost more than the shorter ones.To Sum it up, here's what you should be asking yourself and your surgeon when analysing costs.1. What is the quality of treatment I will be receiving?2. Are there hidden costs? (Ask for a fully transparent pricing structure)3. Are there costs for aftercare?Coming to your main question, the cost in general is hard to pinpoint to a specific number without a consultation with a surgeon, as it differs greatly for different people.Hope this helps.
Thanks for the question. When it comes to costs of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure (quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites as well.In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to SEE lots of examples of their work AND preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done.Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery; keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways. I hope this, and the attached link, helps. Best wishes.

Liposuction is an extremely safe procedure. If the parents agree that liposuction will be beneficial to their child it can be considered in a teenager.
