Can a 16 year old girl get liposuction with parental consent?

Liposuction is an extremely safe procedure. If the parents agree that liposuction will be beneficial to their child it can be considered in a teenager.

A patient age 16 is not a candidate for elective liposuction in most states including the state if New Jersey. Consideration for liposuction after the age of 18 is more appropriate. Continue to develop good lifestyle choices regarding  sleep, diet and exercise and revisit a surgical option if needed in a few years. Best,

Thanks for writing,I would suggest you wait. You are still very young, your hormones have yet to maximize there affects on your body and you are have not completed growing. If after 6 months of diet and exercise there have been no changes; and you are truly following a strict diet and controlling calories in association with a good exercise regime. One should consider maybe there are some other issues going on here.
