 Thank you for your question and sharing your photo. Belotero may cause bruising And swelling in the injection sites just like any other filler. If you notice that things are still swollen after another week or two, then you could consider reversing it with hyaluronidase.

Thank you for your question.  The amount injected seems reasonable.  The swelling can be exacerbated by bruising or allergies and be quite long lasting.  If it has not resolved in another couple of weeks, you can consider reversing it with Hyaluronidase.

Swelling under the eyes after filler injection is common. The severity can depend on the filler used, amount of filler given, and injection technique used. Most swelling resolves after 2 weeks. I don't know how much your allergies have to do with this, but ultimately I think that you were probably given too much filler or it was placed too superficially. I would follow up with your injector. If the swelling persists you can have the filler dissolved with Hyaluronidase. I almost always use microcannulas when I do fillers to the tear troughs. There is far less swelling and bruising associated with this technique. Hope this helps.

Common side effects after Belotero injections are similar to other like
products : swelling, bruising, redness, hardness of the skin, altered skin
color and itching. Some people experience swelling around the nose . Most all
side effects resolve in 7 -14 days.  Bruising can be improved with gentle IPL therapy.

Thank you for your question and for posting the picture.After 2 weeks, the soft tissue swelling from the injectable filler should no longer be an issue.It is very likely that too much was injected. I would see the physician who injected the product and consider dissolution with Vitrase.Best,Dr. Karamanoukian

One cc of Hyaluronic acid is a safe and reasonable amount for the lower eyelid. Your allergic predisposition might be the cause of excess fluid retention.
