I have balls in lips after Belotero. Any suggestions?

People do experience lumps in the lips sometimes from fillers. If this happens you should call your doctor and see if they can remove the lumps using the dissolving product hyaluronidase/Vitrase.  So your best best is to call the doctor. 

Lip augmentatoon with fillers can cause bumps.  If they are not visible, I would recommend doing nothing.  If they are visible, massage helps.  Reversal is also an option but may not be necessary.  Re injection can improve asymmetry.

Massage massage massage!!  Try to work the lumps out with gentle massage and that should work.  If not then your surgeon will guide you as to whether a little hyaluronidase will help to break up the bumps.  Either way dont worry because this is not permanent.

Thank you for your question.Lumps and bumps after injection of fillers in the lip are uncommon but can occur.If there was a bruise associated with it, it will likely subside but if there are multiple that feel like nodules, they should be evaluated for dissolution with hyaluronidase/Vitrase.Choose a cannula technique in the future to avoid this problem. Thanks for your question and sorry that you are having concerns at this point after your injection.Belotero is a great lip filler, and with an expert injector, lumps and bumps after the injection are pretty uncommon. There can be some swelling post-injection, which will resolve in time, and this may be part of the problem now. But you need to go back to your provider, see what is going on, and if needed, have hyaluronidase injected to dissolve the product. Always have your injections in the offices of a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon as we are the most skilled in giving these injections.

If you have lumps in your lips after a filler treatment, definitely do not have the same injector add more filler. This could be swelling still but more likely is a blob of product. This can be reduced with conservative injections of hyaluronidase. Rarely is the answer to add more filler. Please discuss with your physician injector or seek a second opinion.
