Will I see FaceTite results soon after surgery?

Hi. I consulted with facial plastic surgeons about FaceTite with liposuction to remove submental fat and tighten my skin. Will I see my new contoured and chiseled jawline soon after surgery?

It will take six months to see the final result after surgery. I tell patients that they can expect to see only 20 to 30% of an improvement soon after surgery, but that it takes much longer to see the final result as the skin contracts.

So I don't know too many facial plastic surgeons, however as a board certified plastic surgeon who does FaceTite regularly, I feel the results I'm seeing come in two phases:  the first phase is about a month after the procedure and the second phase in about 9-12 months after the procedure.  I link my FaceTite treatments of submental fat with a series of 2-3 Morpheus treatments with exosome treatments.  The Facetite contours the jawline and that result I see at 1 month.  The Morpheus with exosomes will tighten the skin as the collagen turns over; that process occurs over 9-12 months.  Best Wishes!!

Thank you for your question! The first week after surgery you will experience swelling and possibly bruising. However, shortly after that when the swelling subsides, you should notice a more contoured face. You will improvements up to 6 months fro0m your Facetite procedure. Wearing a compression garment will help minimize the swelling. Best of luck!
