Hello and thank you for your question!FaceTite is safe for all skin types.Best wishes,Dr. Shanley
Great question! Yes, FaceTite can be safely performed on all skin tones. FaceTite is minimally invasive and is the next best alternative to a facelift. FaceTite uses radio frequency to tighten the skin in conjunction with liposuction to remove unwanted fat.
Yes we actually have treated patients with black, brown and olive skin. We lower the setting on the external temperature probe and it seems to be just fine! It's a great treatment and for the right patient is really the best option- even better than a face lift. Best Wishes!!
Any areas on the face and neck with saggy skin can be treated with FaceTite. This includes the double chin, the neck, the jowls, the jawline and mandible, and marionette lines as well as other areas with deep lines and loose skin. FaceTite can be safely performed on olive skin.
A FaceTite procedure should not alter the color of the skin and could be done on people with olive or dark skin.
Great question! FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia or light sedation and is great for all skin types.
facetite can be used on all skin types, its color blind (see link and our IGTV live from few weeks ago).most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include:1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping.3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and definedAlways use at home derma rolling (see link to Emerageskin x anteageMD roller plus stem cells/hyaluronic acid ampules) and peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten or aerify that can be used to improve skin quality and tighten the skin while improving wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, and Melasma. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Facetite and all other radiofrequency technology that we use at our practice do not discriminate against skin color.
FaceTite is bipolar radio frequency and not laser do it is " color blind " and works well on olive toned skin & skin of color.FaceTite allows control of both the external and internal temperatures and thus has cutoff of energy beyond the set temperatures which makes it very very safe.
The only areas I get concerned about are near the jowls. I have seen temporary weakness on right side of the face twice and I've made changes in the way I do the procedure to minimize the risk. It's a great procedure and am so happy we bought the device early! Best Wishes!!
Liposuction is performed to remove fat . Facetite is a radio frequency treatment to tighten loose skin. It may help reduce some fat but not enough to make a difference. If you have fat as your major issue then focus on that but be aware you may have to deal with loose skin.
What you are showing in the photos is NOT excess facial fat that needs to be melted or heated. In fact, doing so would probably result in a very unnatural look. The appropriate use of injectable fillers can help to support and straighten the angles of the mouth. It is difficult to say from the...
