I'm 30 and I want these mounds gone. What is not too invasive that can help melt the fat in this specific area? FaceTite? Thermi rf? I want something very effective for this area. Thanks.
Answer: Lifting Fillers Work Well For Elevating & Straightening Marionette Folds What you are showing in the photos is NOT excess facial fat that needs to be melted or heated. In fact, doing so would probably result in a very unnatural look. The appropriate use of injectable fillers can help to support and straighten the angles of the mouth. It is difficult to say from the photos, but additional filler may be needed in the region of the cheekbones and/or in the area of the posterior angle of the jawline. If indeed this is so, then the addressing these regions would further help to not only taper and make the face more heart-shapped, but would secondarily improve the marionette region, as well. Before falling prey to the marketing hype for relatively expensive "bells and whistles" RF devices like the Facetite or Thermi RF (whose science to support their purported benefits lags well behind the marketing hype), make sure to consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and be sure to ask to see his/her personal befores and afters before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.

Answer: Facetite - Perioral mounds What you are seeing is the very slow aging of your body and the slight droop of your cheek into the jowl area. I think FaceTite (or Accutite off the same InMode device) would be your best option! I love the ease and precision of the procedure! In NYC Dr. Spero Theodorou and his partner Dr. Chris Chia are world renown for this. You can add other skin tightening at the same time called Morpheus. ThermiRF and Ulthera for skin tightening are nice, but truly a bit outdated. Best Wishes!!

Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin this needs morpheus, threads and facetite. most of my younger patients do buccal fat pad reduction, facetite/liposuction of the neck, and fillers to chin/cheeks/jawline/temples, to give them a more chiseled face. see my IG and links. at home derma-rolling should be started to Improve texture and tone and tightening along jawline (see link where we have a recommended daily skincare and weekly MTS + anteageMD derma-rolling protocol). For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined most of my younger patients consider... 5. deep microneelding RF like morpheus every 2-3 months forever to further improvement tightening 6. early face/neck lift if you want a really tight contour and the most extreme improvement in jawline and neck shaping 7. threads, PDO or Instalift, after neck surgery/facetite to further improve the outcomes and give them long term collagen production and shaping 8. Thermage (radio frequency heating) and Ultherapy (ultrasound muscle tightening) yearly to prevent sagging in the future

Answer: Facetite Thank you for your questions and photos. Facetite is a technology that works to shrinkwrap the tissues using radiofrequency. Because Facetite tightens as well as melts a small amount of fat, I think this is a reasonable option for you. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon who has experience with the Facetite/Morpheus 8 machine. In our office, we offer 3D imaging to give our patients an accurate idea of what their final result will look like. Good luck!
