I’m 6months post Rhinoplasty, how many months after is it safe to have face, brow lift and neck lift. Nose tip still hard, think most swelling on face has gone or very little left.

Answer: Generally 6-12 months Hello and thank you for your question. In short- every surgeon's practice is different. Generally, most surgeons would wait at least 6-12 months between these different types of procedures to allow things to settle and heal to a reasonable degree before the next operation. Although it takes up to 1-2 years for your nose to fully heal and the swelling to fully resolve after a rhinoplasty, most surgeons would not wait 2 years before your next facial surgery, and it is safe to proceed with one of these other surgeries prior to complete healing of your nose. A facelift/necklift is the same procedure, and thus these areas are addressed at the same time. Some surgeons will do the browlift at the same time as the facelift, and depending on how they perform this procedure and how long it takes, it is reasonable to do it together or delay it for another stage. Everything ultimately comes down to surgeon and patient preference, so always have the conversation with your surgeon so you both know exactly what to expect, and so you both feel comfortable with how the procedure(s) will be performed and the timing of everything prior to proceeding. I hope this helps! Best, Dr. Donald Groves Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Post-Rhinoplasty facial surgery In my opinion it would be fine to move forward with other facial surgery that you've outlined at this point. While the nose is still healing, it is stable and your face itself is ready. Of course it is important that the surgeon who is performing the facial surgery is aware of your previous rhinoplasty and where you are in the healing process, so that all steps necessary are taken to protect your nose during the surgery on the rest of your face. Answer: In the case of a facelift, brow lift, and neck lift, 6 months after a rhinoplasty is usually considered a safe interval The timing of subsequent facial procedures after a rhinoplasty will depend on several factors, including the extent of the rhinoplasty procedure, the patient's individual healing process, and the type of procedures being considered. In general, it is recommended to wait at least 6 months after a rhinoplasty before undergoing additional facial surgery, as this allows sufficient time for the nose to fully heal and settle into its final shape. In the case of a facelift, brow lift, and neck lift, 6 months after a rhinoplasty is usually considered a safe interval for these procedures to be performed. However, this can vary from person to person, and it is important to consult with your plastic surgeon to determine the most appropriate timing for your specific case.Your plastic surgeon will be able to assess your individual anatomy, healing process, and overall health and make a recommendation based on your specific needs and goals. We may also advise waiting longer than 6 months if you had extensive surgery or if you are experiencing any complications from the rhinoplasty. In any case, it is important to follow your surgeon's instructions carefully and to allow enough time for the nose to heal properly before undergoing additional surgery. This will help to ensure optimal results and minimize the risk of complications.
