These two muscles pull down the corners of the mouth as we age. When Botox is injected into these muscles, it allows the corners of the mouth to rise. It is a temporary solution that lasts 2–3 months. Find a person who is an experienced Botox injector.

Answer: Mini facelift A mini facelift with a SMAS lift will lift the corners of the mouth. This can use an extension into the temporal hairline to lift the cheeks.

Answer: Facelift Any well done facelift will improve the jowls and neck. There are many types of facelifts which are largely the same so don’t get confused if you get different recommendations from each surgeon
