Based on the photos you shared, you may really benefit from a series of Morpheus8 treatments. Morpheus8 is microneedling with radio frequency. It is used to lift and tighten. The results from Morpheus8 are tighter, more elastic skin. It is also possible that a little filler in the cheeks could also offer improvement as well.
The eye area needs significant combinations to get improvement. Lasers like erbium, co2, halo, profractional/contour, or Fraxel can all be used to build collagen long term. Plasma pen is a newer less invasive option but will take many treatments and require proper skincare. Plasma Pen is focused electrical plasma energy to tighten skin, producing small columns of energy just above the skin, allowing the skin to tighten to help improve wrinkles. This area will have 3-5 days of small “dots” that will then scab and peel, then the skin will tighter and brighter after. Numerous treatments are needed over lasers where only one or two give a bigger result, but more downtime. After plasma pen you NEED peels 2 weeks like later Cosmelan, enlighten or aerify, see emeragecosmetics (link). At home derma rolling should be started weekly even after plasma pen or lasers to further increase collagen, see emeragecosmetics AERIFY x anteagemd stem cell ampules. To properly heal you need light Stim red LED, EmerageSkin refit face, refit eye; AnteageMD serum, silagen silicone gel, jan Marini bioshield, EmerageSkin enzymatic polish, and EmerageSkin hyla b and AOX, and Sente dermal repair. Otherwise there is EXTREME risk of pigmentation issues and “dots” in the treatment area. at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (AERIFY emerageskin roller with Anteage MD ampules) should be started now regardless for antiaging, sun damage, and wrinkle prevention. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will such as eyelid blepharoplasty with or without fat pad repositioning (if doing lower eyelid surgery) will be the best long term. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles without surgery. Non invasive less downtime options such as fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP, cosmelan peels, and microneedling RF like Fractora, PiXel8 or morpheus can all help give some improvement. Accutite can often be used or stronger lasers like erbium or co2 spot treatment can tighten the skin and give very quick improvement in wrinkles and texture. I suggest you get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question and images. The under-eye area can develop fine lines and creases as we age, making us appear tired and older. However, dermal fillers can plump up the skin and smooth out these wrinkles, resulting in a more refreshed and youthful look. This treatment can be combined with other cosmetic procedures, such as laser resurfacing or chemical peels, to enhance the results further and achieve a more vibrant and rejuvenated appearance. Juvéderm and Restylane injectables use hyaluronic acid to smooth unwanted wrinkles. The injections last 6-12 months and can be combined with neuromodulators, laser treatments, and microneedling to enhance results. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon and expert injector. They will be able to evaluate your concerns and treatment history, then determine the best course of action to achieve your desired results.
You can get wrinkles under your eye when the delicate and thin skin around your eyes loses its elasticity. In addition, frequent sun exposure, repeated facial movements, genetics, and smoking can accelerate the formation of eye lines.Laser treatment that can be used to tighten the skin of the lower eyelid associated with lipolysis in peri-ocular aesthetics without using knives or scalpels, for better results and a quicker recovery period compared to traditional surgery. Hope this helps.
The photo in repose shows upper cheek volume deficit, which, if addressed with an appropriately robust HA filler can secondarily improve the under-eye area (since this upper cheek immediately below is a major structural support for the infraorbital region). Crow's feet to the sides of the eyes are quite prominent with smiling and significantly detract from the overall appearance, and these can be easily addressed with a few microdroplets of Botox on each side. Finally, a series of superficial peels using high concentrations of alpha or betahydroxyacids, Jessner's Solution or low concentrations of TCA, can be quite helpful for directly improving the under-eye crepeyness and crinkling. Hope this helps. You would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.
Hello, hope you are well. There are a couple things going on to consider. First and foremost is dermatochalasis of the upper and lower eyelids--excessive skin laxity. Moreover, there also appears to be orbicularis (muscle) hypertrophy of the lower eyelids which is evidenced by your smiling. The simple thing to try first would be a little bit of botulinum toxin (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, etc) under the eyes, and potentially for the "crow's feet" as well. This is a temporary and partial solution for the muscle hypertrophy. An alternative and more definitive solution would be lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery--sometimes called an "eyelid lift") to reduce the skin wrinkles and muscle hypertrophy, and to smooth out the eyelid cheek junction. An upper blepharoplasty could also be considered if the heaviness and appearance of the excessive skin is bothersome to you. Best,Dr. Tower
Hello, and thank you for your question! To help with the wrinkles around your eyes you can do Botox. Botox will help treat the animated lines. You can also do Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) under your eyes. PRP will help the quality of skin under your eyes. Good luck on your journey!
From your photos you appear to be a candidate for a lower blepharoplasty. This would address the excess skin that is contributing to your concerns. You can also consider an upper blepharoplasty as well. The result will be a rejuvented, refreshed look to the eyes. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.
If your skin is tight and healthy under eye wrinkles can be addressed with hyaluronic acid fillers injected into the tear trough area. If your skin is a bit older due to decreased elastin and collagen production your choice becomes an under eye procedure called blepharoplasty.
As an individual ages, they lose volume in the face as well as all over the body in terms of fat and muscle bulk. This creates excess skin, which can either be removed through surgery, or better yet, filled back out to the youthful appearance. The best way to rejuvenate an aging face is with fat grafting. Using the patients own fat and stem cells, I restore the youthful appearance in the most natural and permanent way. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion...
I'm sorry to hear of the issues you are having with swelling. I think you are taking the correct steps by dissolving any remaining filler and seeing an allergist. An ENT may be another specialist you can consult if you do not find improvement with the current plan.
