Eye placement/asymmetry and cheek bone asymmetry?

Question

I’d like to know what can possibly be done to make my eyes and eyebrows more symmetrical. Glasses constantly feel tilted as if one side of my face was more slacken. I have also tried shaping my eyebrows to make them more symmetrical but of course it does nothing to the placement of the other. I included two photos, which show a “direct” and “reverse” image of my face. I’m also beginning orthodontic work to correct the jaw misalignment.

Thank you for your question. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. It will be important to discuss the work to your jaw, and to consider multiple approaches alongside eyelid procedures.

You have vertical orbit eye asymmetry as the main cause with soft tissue (eyelid, brow) asymmetry as secondary asymmetry. Consultation is needed to better understand your goals and discussion of treatment which could include orbit and/or eyelid surgery.

You would benefit from a personal consultation for a detailed assessment by someone who actually understands eyelids and eyebrows. From the photos, you have bilateral upper eyelid ptosis that is worse on the right side with a compensatory right eyebrow elevation.  In effect you are already doing your own brow lift.  Doing a surgical forehead lift will skeletonize your eyes and this will not help you look more attractive.  The fix here is to perform bilateral upper eyelid ptosis to help open the eyes and control the upper eyelid crease.  The cheek projection is best helped with thoughtful hyaluronic acid fillers.  Please be careful what you look for.

You do have a facial asymmetry with many differences between the right and left side of your face. The affected side is the right side which is overall lower. The right eyeball and brow is lower as well as have increased fullness on the right jawline. It is also possible that the right ear is lower as well. Options include a right brow lift and orbital floor augmentation.
