Why am I experiencing turbinate and facial swelling 2 years after rhinoplasty?

In general, general practitioners may not be the best specialist to evaluate somebody's nasal Airway. If you are having problems breathing through your nose after rhinoplasty, I would suggest visiting either your surgeon or a reputable otolaryngologist to see the cause of your nasal obstruction. Recurrent breathing issues are most frequently result of turbinate hypertrophy. Use of decongestants may help to a certain degree but additional turbinate resection may be needed. None of these may be permanently successful, unfortunately. Lower eyelid issues may also be associated with allergies, reduced tear drainage due to existing nasal congestion as well as aging. Second opinion consultation with an expert nose surgeon should be considered. Good luck.
