Hi I had a septorhinoplasty done at the end of May it’s been 6 months now and my breathing is worst then it was before, when I first did my consultation I told him I needed my breathing fixed and just wanted the hump I had taken down a little nothing else after surgery I was told he refined the tip, it now looks pointy to me and doesn’t match my round face shape hat should I do? I’m trying not to freak out but I feel I might have to get a revision because I wasn’t listened to.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Results Without a thorough history and examination, it's difficult to pinpoint the reasons for nasal obstruction. Given some of the narrowing of the middle third of your nose, I suspect you have some narrow internal nasal valves. That being said, a septal deviation or turbinate hypertrophy could also be contributing to your issues. The nose continues to evolve long after a rhinoplasty is performed, so at 6 months, it's a little premature to "know" the final outcome. For right now, meet with your surgeon and discuss your concerns. Seek temporizing solutions such as nasal saline sprays, possibly nasal steroid sprays, or even breathing strips. Keep track of what helps and what does not. Get your records from the surgery as well in case you seek a 2nd opinion as that can help the next surgeon understand your situation better.

Answer: Postop septoplasty with still breathing issues. And unhappy with appearance. Based on your post of photos, the external result is acceptable though can be refined a bit as far as postop breathing issues must do a virtual consultation, but most likely need a revision septoplasty. Fee ranges from $8000-$12,000. Best of virtual consult with.
