Radiesse is an FDA-Approved filler that we use very frequently in our office to sculpt the contours of the face. Since we are a national center of excellence for filler reversal, we also encounter patients from other doctors' offices who wish to have Radiesse fillers removed for one reason or another. In our office, we employ a directed technique to visualize the filler material, if possible on ultrasound, and then use non-surgical methods to dissolve the filler or granuloma tissue using intralesional injections. There are many methods using a combination of enzymes, intralesional modulators of scar tissue, and Kenalog to help reduce volume and remaining filler. These techniques require meticulous attention to detail and can be performed at intervals of two to three weeks to achieve longterm effect. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
Thank you for your question. Having some redness after Radiesse injections is normal. However, it is unusual to have white spots after injection. I recommend having a follow up with your injector for an evaluation and treatment. Best of Luck!
Thank you for your question. Rednessis normal after the Radiesse treatment, however not white spots. It’s hard totell from your photo. I suggest getting an immediate follow-up with yourphysician so that they can assess the area. It’s always best to bring up theseconcerns with your doctor.
It is unclear from your question how long before the photo you had your Radiesse injection. If immediately or within a day or two, you may have had a blood vessel inadvertently injected causing ischemia or loss of blood flow to the skin in the area. You also may have an infection from the filler injection. With either condition, prompt medical evaluation and treatment is necessary! Call your doctor and be seen ASAP.No you will not likely "get rid of this in 10 hours"!Hope this helps and best of luck!
I would contact the treating physician/nurse that did your treatment to see what his/her recommendations are. It is difficult to tell from your photo what may be going on exactly. Always get treatments done by either a board certified plastic surgeon or with an RN in a plastic surgery office that has had specific training for injectables,
When did this appear following your injections? Regardless, you should return immediately to your injector so that he/she may evaluate you and get ahead of this process asap.Best of luck!
In my opinion, you most likely need a different filler that can be placed more superficially into the wrinkle of your smile line. Radiesse needs to be injected deeper than the surface of the wrinkle and this is why you are not seeing much change after your Radiesse treatment. Fillers that c...
Radiesse is a stimulatory filler that is an excellent option for patients who desire a longer-lasting filler alternative to hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. In our office, we use Radiesse to complement structural areas of the face and contour bony prominences. Our office also is a center of...
I have experience using Radiesse for about fifteen years, back since its early days when it was called Radiance. It is generally a safe, natural (made of a calcium-based material akin to bone and teeth), semi-permanent (lasts about a year to two) volumizing fillers (imparts good lift and...
