No fillers either. What I mean to ask is, does bunching up the cartilage as you do when you reduce a bulbous tip makes the nose more aquiline and projected? If you take a look at the picture attached, there's no implant, yet the tip seems more projected. Alar base reduction wouldn't cause that, I assume?

Answer: Tip projection Short answer....yesit looks like you have done your research. Tip projection can be accomplished in various ways. A piece of your septal cartilage can be placed over the tip which will increase projection. Additionally the lower lateral cartilages can be manipulated as well, advancing them medially to increase projection. This maneuver is called Lateral crural steal. Hope this helpsregards

Answer: Yes The tip of the nose can have improved projection by either adjusting the cartilage in the tip or by borrowing cartilage from another area to build up the tip.
