My doctor told me that I have to get deviated septum surgery, does this surgery change the way my nose look?

 A septoplasty is performed in the back of the nose to improve airflow dynamics, and has no bearing on the shape of the nose. The septum is the partition inside your nose that divides the nose into two compartments. This partition is often naturally crooked, obstructing one or both airways. A septoplasty is an operation designed to straighten this partiion and get better airflow through the nose.
