Can my glasses make congestion from a deviated septum worse?

I have plastic framed glasses that sit on the bridge of my nose. I also have a deviated septum that is deviated along the dorsum. Can the indentations left by my glasses be worsening the congestion from my deviated septum?

There are many reasons patients have nasal congestion on the inside of the nose, which include a deviated septum, turbinate hypertrophy, chronic sinusitis, allergies, valve collapse, and vestibular stenosis. Each one of these issues are treated differently with medications or surgery. Once patients have failed medical management, they can consider surgical options to improve air flow through the nose.  Wearing glasses can cause congestion in the nose if they slipped down and are pinching the upper lateral cartilages inward blocking the airway.
