This is something that I've only become self aware about a couple of months ago. It didn't use to be this bad but lately it is becoming so noticeable and it really bothers me. I'm 19 years old.

A 3D CT scan is needed to determine the extent of your chin/jawline asymmetry and the exact treatment needed. But based on just this one picture, a sliding genioplasty that brings the chin forward and over to the midline may be what is needed to correct the bony asymmetry.

You’ve never seen a symmetrical face unless possibly computer generated.do me a favor and do an Internet search on computer generated facial symmetry.when I look at these pictures of two left or two right sides used to generate a symmetrical face they look drastically different. not only do they look very different like two different people but they look strange. They look strange because the mind has never seen a normal symmetrical face.The baseline asymmetry is always skeletal. Soft tissue manipulation to compensate for skeletal asymmetry will always create a soft tissue asymmetry that is less natural and often doesn’t look betterHere’s the bottom line.please don’t be offended.Young men should not be looking at themselves in the mirror.
