I have a mild case of oral thrush and have surgery scheduled in 1.5 weeks. Will it cause problems? (Photo)

I am 40, I have been on Nystatin oral suspension for two months for Thrush on tongue, yet it's not cleared up yet. I have a breast augmentation (over the muscle) scheduled in 1.5 weeks. Is this likely to postpone my surgery? The Thrush never progressed past a white/yellow appearance on tongue, no bumps. How worried should I be that this may postpone my surgery? Thank-you

I don't see any reason why you couldn't have either an Inframamary approach or a periareolar approach. I think there are advantages to the inframammary approach and having a third nipple as you do should not be any problem

Hello,The left does appear to be sitting up high still which distorts the look of your nipple position. If this is not resolved with displacement exercises over the next couple of months then it may require a small revision.All the best

Hello,Thank you for your question. Repairing and reinforcing the implant pocket with a capsulorraphy procedure could be done with permanent or dissolvable sutures. Your Plastic Surgeon will have assessed your tissue and determined if that approach will be sufficient and strong enough. You may...

Hello,Thank you for your question. Increased swelling and pressure often results in increased vein visibility in the chest area post op. This typically resolves over the first few months. You will need to be patient- you are still very early post op and it will take time for things to settle....
