Can under eye fillers cause eye shape changes? (Photo)

I'm a female (ignore the eyebrows lol) in my late 30's and my dark circles and hollowness are much worse following massive weight loss. Can under eye fillers cause shape changes? If yes, is that always a bad thing? Or, can they correct my tear trough deformity AND improve my "not so pretty" eyes? Thank you!

No, under eye filler will not alter the shape of your eyes. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will be the best long term.  However, non invasive less downtime options such as fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP, cosmelan peels and stem cells can all help give some improvement. I suggest you get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Under eye fillers should help reduce the shadowing under your eyes and give you a more refreshed, less tired appearance. Fillers do not usually change the shape of the lower eyelids unless a large volume is put it.
