I have a flat face and fillers don’t last so I’ve been trying Bellafill. So far, I’ve had 6 syringes into my cheeks spaced 1 month apart. I love the initial look but my face goes flat in week. Its made a “little” bit of a difference but not as much as I like. How many syringes does it usually take to get the apple cheek look? Any information is appreciated! Thanks!
Answer: Complications from Bellafill injections and Biopolymers Bellafill is a semi-permanent filler with a host of complications that can be long-lasting. Our office specializes in filler complications, especially those related to Bellafill and Artefill, including granulomas, lumps, and soft tissue swelling. Surgery may be one option; whereas non-surgical soft-tissue lifting and intralesional injections may help reduce the visibility of these fillers. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Fillers such as bellafill, voluma, sculptra last longer; fat injections; cheek implants you can use bellafill over time, since it builds we typically do small amounts and often will mix it with an HA filler like voluma to give you immediate volume as well. please see an expert. start at home dermarolling and peels like cosmelan to improve the texture and quality of the skin as well as volumization at the same time. Answer: How many syringes of Bellafill needed? Treatments with Bellafill are individualized for each patient, so the number of syringes needed will vary by patient. It would not be unusual to use 1-2 syringes per cheek for each treatment session and it is possible that 2-4 sessions might be needed. For some people, less Bellafill and fewer sessions may be sufficient. It is normal for there to be some regression after the treatment, as the collagen that delivers the Bellafill subsides fairly quickly. It can then take 1-2 months to see the stimulatory effect from the injection.

Answer: The decade rule This of course depends on your age and degree of volume deficiency. One general rule that I have found is usually pretty accurate is one kit of Bellafil for each decade over 50. So in your fifties one kit of 5, sixties two kits of 5 ,and seventies three kits. If you are in you 30s one kit is usually sufficient . Thanks, Douglas M. Stevens

Answer: Bellafill Volume In general, over 4 to 6 months, the volume from a single syringe should be restored. Thus, if you have one 0.8 cc syringe injected, it will dissipate in the first 2-3 weeks and then fill back out over the coming months. It is not possible to project how many syringes you will ultimately needs but 6 syringes concentrated in the cheek area should give you a nice volume. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
