Bellafill is generally delivered deeper into the tissue than the laser. Which makes it safe for you to have your laser treatment soon after your injections. For more specific recommendations, I would discuss your concerns with the physician performing your procedures. In most cases, two weeks would be the maximum wait time between the procedure, unless there are additional circumstances I am not aware of.
It will depend in part on the depth of the laser treatment. However, Bellafill is typically injected much more deeply than lasers reach, which prevents one from countering the other. I would say wait about 2 weeks before undergoing your second treatment, just to ensure your dermal tissue has had ample time to heal. Make sure the doctor you choose is board certified and highly experienced in the laser procedure you choose to ensure an optimal outcome.
In my practice i do these at the same time all the time without issues, for years. See my youtube and IG videos. I would suggest preparing your skin with a cosmelan or enlightn peel before lasers (see link to emeragecosmetics.com where we do free skincare consults daily). Best, Dr. Emer.
Bellafill is normally injected relatively deeply and laser treatments usually only affect the surface of the skin. I would recommend waiting about 2 weeks after Bellafill before having a laser treatment, just to allow any swelling to dissipate and to allow the Bellafill to settle in.
There is no waiting time to have a laser or RFM after Bellafill. The filler will be unaffected and studies prove that. In fact, you don't have to wait after any filler to get these treatments. The Restylane fillers are heated to 120C for 20 minutes to sterilize them so temps or 65-100 for millisecs won't affect them whatsoever.
It is likely you can get fillers in your nose at this point, but keep in mind this procedure requires a tremendous amount of precision and knowledge of facial anatomy to achieve a positive result. I advise you to find a board-certified dermatologist who performs this type of rhinoplasty...
Filler migration and granuloma formation can cause longterm problems with Bellafill and Artefill fillers. This is similar in patients who have Artecoll and PMMA fillers. Longterm filler complications include migration, edema, chronic swelling, and nodularity. If patients have filler migration or...
Surveys of complications from Bellafill have demonstrated it to have amongst the lowest rate ( at an incidence of Radiesse ) of all fillers.Personally, my experience has been from the beginning, having published the article describing the first 20 patients treated in the U.S. with Artecoll-...
