Hello brideykapp, Thank you for your question regarding butt lift recovery and using the toilet. The most crucial message regarding butt lift recovery is to avoid bending at the waist. This means keeping your back straight from your shoulder blades to the back of your knees. You should not bend at the waist for at least 2 to 3 weeks. As you've mentioned, this can make having a bowel movement challenging. However, there are several options: The most common method is to stand and hover over the toilet or a bucket. This approach is widely used for bowel movements post butt lift. Another alternative is to use a toilet seat riser and gently lean against the area. The concern with using a seat riser is the temptation to bend slightly, which should be avoided. An additional option is to use a bedpan while lying flat in bed. This may be the easiest method, although most patients prefer to stand during bowel movements. All these methods ensure that your back remains straight. After two or three weeks, bending should become more manageable. Thank you for your questions regarding butt lift recovery and toilet use. Sincerely, J.
