I got lip injections yesterday. Today I have a fever 38 Celsius. I don’t bruise and have minimal swelling. I have history of herpes on my lips. Is the fever connected to lip fillers?

I have seen in my practice previously where injected fillers get a similar reaction with tree pollen and other allergy triggers. It would be prudent to either dissolve the fillers. You may also get a short course of steroids as recommended by your physician.
