I received Juvederm in lips about one month ago. At first I had a large bump come up on bottom lip. My doctor advised I had scar tissue so he had to inject up to two syringes. The bump has finally gotten better since the last follow up I seen him. He massaged it, but now it looks like I didn't receive any Juvederm. This is second time I've received Juvederm, and didn't last. The first time was in areas by nose down to mouth. What could be causing this?

Thank you for your question! Juvederm contains lidocaine without epinephrine so you should not experience any unwanted side effects following the treatment. Before you are injected, however, I would address this concern with your doctor. Best of luck!
