Fat graft for granuloma - is this a good solution? (photos)

Fat transfer is good for giving overall diffuse volume but it’s not that good at giving very precise correct amounts of volume in small spaces.

Grafted fat survives primarily based on the quality and abundance of host tissue available to support the graft.

Grafting fat tends to work better on the face than other areas but can be tricky.

Your post does not make it clear if the holes are related to your steroid injections or if they were there as baseline. for example contour irregularities from acne typically do not respond to volume injections but contour irregularities that don’t have scar tissue often do.

In that sense each case is unique and individual and requires an in person assessment and careful evaluation.

Most likely fat transfer will give partial corrections, can potentially over correct and often requires a touchup procedure before the results resemble what patience want to as their final outcome.
