Can I take utovlan/norethisterone before and during a rhinoplasty?

I want to delay my period because I bleed a lot and it’s uncomfortable for at least during the procedure and a few days after can I do that by taking norethiserone? Is it safe to take this just before rhinoplasty

In general, if the negatives of coming off a birth control pill outweigh the positives of staying on it, This may not preclude rhinoplasty surgery. There is an association between taking synthetic estrogens and developing a deep Venous Thrombosis. The risk of this is very low with a surgery that is 2 hours or less. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
