Top lip bigger after filler - how long will it take to recover if I get it dissolved? (Photo)

Three days after an injectable filler treatment to your lips is too soon to assess your final result. Before considering a dissolving enzyme, please consider sitting tight for at least a month. I agree that there's a difference between your top and lower lip, however, it doesn't look peculiar. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

It takes lips a full month to fully heal and settle after treatment so I would recommend waiting at this stage. Visible swelling at this stage is not unusual and it also varies between patients as well and also depends on the specific filler used. Some are more prone to cause swelling than others. The filler is placed but there is trauma to the tissues in doing so and if the upper lip needed extra injections (common and doesn't necessarily mean that more product was placed) then the extra manipulation alone can explain. The shape of your upper lip is lovely!
