Am I suitable for a nostril reduction? (Photo)

kayakitten
My alar base is abit wide and i would like it reduced. I have thick skin and my nostrils are long instead of wide. Surgerons have told me reducing my alar base would give a "pinched" appearance and result in difficulty breathing. I trust my surgerons but i want outside opinions on if this is true. We are also worried a tip refinement and width reduction of the cartilage will give the nostrils an even wider appearance.
