Are there any negative effects of multiple (greater than 7) postop steroid injections? (Photo)

Based on your photos, you appear to have relatively thin nasal skin, and I do not believe that you have a significant amount of swelling 1.5 years after your surgery. Are the steroid injections doing anything beneficial? I suspect not. I can see that you have a wide nasal tip appearance with flaring nostrils and a hanging columella. Your nose does not exhibit swelling, the only reason to inject steroids. Your nose does appear to have columellar droop and alar retraction, and may be the cause of your dissatisfaction. If those are things you would like to address, then you would need a revision rhinoplasty.

To me the most noticeable problem is that you have a hanging columella ( the part between the nostrils) this is easily correctable with a minor procedure. I would not recommend any more steroids

From your photos, I don't think that you have significant tip swelling still ongoing... especially given how much definition you can see in your side picture. The primary issue I see is that you have pretty thick skin and that will limit how small you can get your nose. Nonetheless, if you still want to do injections, the main things to watch out for are any side effects of skin thinning- your skin might get paler, have telangiectasias (small fine blood vessels), and may even get so thin that you can actually see the cartilage underneath.
