Small liposuction lumpiness/discolouration (6 months post op) (Photo)

Question

I got 360 liposuction bbl 6 months ago and I have noticed some weird results on my abdomen specifically that don’t seem to be improving or going away. As you can see, when I stretch my belly it reveals a very lumpy looking surface. The bumps aren’t particularly hard, but the lumpy uneven surface hasn’t seemed to subside at all. Also, specifically on my lower abdomen and flanks, my skin is very blotchy and discoloured (especially if i’m bloated). What is this, and how can I fix it?

Your results indicate Liposuction that was done using poor technique.
This left you with an uneven fat distribution leading to an uneven lumpy contour.
Improving the outcome is going to be very difficult and only some improvements may be possible with revision surgery.
Any attempt at revision surgery can also potentially make things worse just like your primary procedure left you uneven.
 The discoloration could be due to dermal injury or hemosiderin staining from the iron in hemoglobin if you had substantial amounts of bruising.
To make a quality assessment we usually need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures.
You should have a set of before and after pictures.
If you don’t, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took.
I’m curious what your provider has to say about your outcome?
Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult than most people realize.
The number of plastic surgeons who approach mastery of this procedure is in reality quite small.
I cannot emphasize enough the importance of provider selection for permanent irreversible body contouring procedures.
To find the right provider, I suggest patient schedule multiple in person consultations.
During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own period
 Being shown a handful of sample results representing the best outcomes of a providers career may be insufficient to understand what results look like in the hands of each provider.
At this point, there is no easy way to improve your outcome.
