I had rhinoplasty a month ago. Soon as my cast came off I realised that one side of my nose is more defined than the other. One side of my nose seems to have a dent and the skin feels a lot thinner than the other side. I know I am very early to make any judgements but is it likely that this dent will resolve over time. It just seems very unlikely. I really want to avoid revision rhinoplasty. Could this dent be safely filled with filler to achieve a more even smooth result.

Answer: One month after rhinoplasty surgery is too soon to judge your final tip result.
After an injectable filler treatment, swelling may resolve and this can lead to an appearance where more filler could be necessary. When that is the case, we suggest adding extra filler no sooner than one month from the initial treatment date. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
For the reasons that you cite, we do not endorse the use of temporary gel fillers in the nose. In our practice we specialize in the use of microdroplet Silikon-1000 which is not associated with vascular occlusion and necrosis. I hope This helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
I reviewed all of your photos, and I do not see any bumps involving the tip of your nose on the right side. If you do have a small bump that consists of scar tissue depending on your examination, a dilute steroid injection might be reasonable. Thank you. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
