Unsure about non surgical nose job - can the filler move and could I go blind?

Hiya, I have booked a myself for a non surgical nose job with someone who I do trust, she is registered, qualified, well known( very popular on social media) hundreds of reviews, nearly 5 stars. Very good before and afters, in whole I feel I can trust this person due to experience. However, something about the process really unsettled me. I have always hated my nose and would love to get this done. But I have no many worries, does the filler move or can I go blind months later it being done?

For the reasons that you cite, we do not endorse the use of temporary gel fillers in the nose. In our practice we specialize in the use of microdroplet Silikon-1000 which is not associated with vascular occlusion and necrosis. I hope This helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Non surgical nose job is an injection technique that is becoming increasingly popular. Results are immediate and overall patient satisfaction is high. This injection should be performed by experienced injectors who have an extensive understanding of the anatomy of the face. Blindness is a potential risk with this injection technique should the provider inject the dermal filler into a blood vessel that supplies the ocular area. However, experienced injectors who have extensive knowledge of the anatomy of the face know the danger zones of this injection technique and avoid the areas where the major blood vessels are located. Some providers will perform this technique using doppler guided ultrasound to ensure that they are injecting away from the arterial supply to the ocular region. Hyaluronic acid dermal filler should be used, as this filler can be immediately dissolved should a potential complication arise. Filler migration leading to blindness is unlikely, as the potential for blindness occurs if the needle directly punctures a blood vessel and dermal filler is injected into that blood vessel.
