Yes! I highly recommend getting regular injections of PRP into your scalp. Think of your hair as grass, PRP is like the fertilizer to continue stimulating and keeping that grass green and growing. However, there are some things that you need to look at before running out and getting fertilizer. Not all PRP is created equal. There are different types of machines to harvest and concentrate the PRP. You want to make sure that the PRP you are receiving is a true dual spin PRP machine like Emcyte. This machine and procurement process is validated to concentrate your platelets 7-9x. This is important because if it isn't concentrated appropriately, you will not see the best results. Also, I would not microneedle it into your scalp. That can cause so scarring. I would only inject it using a 30 gauge needle, after I did a scalp block of course. My recommendation is to have an tricoscopy evaluation in order to assess if there are any hair follicles in the location that you are experiencing hair loss. PRP results is an effective treatment but results varies. My best advice is that you call your physician that performed the initial hair transplant and follow his recommendations.
