I have porcelain veneers on my lateral incisors and I don't like how they look. I feel they are too long and too large giving me an unnatural smile. I feel my central incisors lose their focus as they are dominated by the laterals. Is this is a correct assessment? I feel there is a large difference between my trial smile (more natural) and end result. What feedback can I provide my next dentist to improve the end result?

If your prepless veneers make your teeth look larger, consider slight reshaping. For future procedures, request a diagnostic wax-up to preview the outcome. For a more natural look, you might need to replace the veneers with some tooth preparation involved.
It is true that dental veneers or crowns can get darkened they are worn off. However, it will take some while. Unfortunately there is no other way than to replace them if it is a big concern for you.
