Can fat transfer to under eye hollows cause scar tissue?

Periorbital fat transfer causing scar tissue? I had a previous lower blepharoplasty which has left me with some hollowing, but I am worried fat transfer could cause more scar tissue. Is this rare?

Yes, you have a significant tear trough deformity and very hollow lower eyelids. You'd be a very good candidate for a face fat transfer.

For hollowness or volume deficiency the best option is fat transfer. For delicate areas like under eyes highly strained fat: micro or nano fat is best.

Thank you for the photos. Subtle but significant changes can be created with fat transfer. In your particular case, I would widen your face with volume to the cheekbones and temples, fill under the eyes, buccal space, chin and jawline.

Thank you for the images. I've seen this many times in the office. Sometimes, scarring from a buccal fat removal can tether tissue. The best correction for this is fat transfer.
