I had liposuction on my outer and inner thighs just over 6 months ago and I am unhappy with the results. I still have the buldge I wanted removed on my outer thighs (my left side especially) and now have a dent in my buttocks when I didn’t want them touching. The surgeon said it’s just loose skin on my outer thigh but it doesn’t seem right to me. I feel like the fat has been taken out further up than where we discussed.
Answer: Unhappy with liposution results on outerthigh -- indentations and irregularities looks like they did much more than your outer thighs which could have been improved with non surgical options or micro liposuction. that area does best adding bodytite. regardless, now you have indentations, irregularities that need fat grafting. see an expert in revision (which is what we do daily in my practice). that was just bad work done. Best, Dr. Eemr.

Answer: Liposuction I'm sorry you are unhappy with your liposuction results. You may be a candidate for BodyTite. This procedure combines liposuction with RF technology that can tighten skin up to 40%. An in person evaluation is recommended to discuss your specific concerns and learn about options.

Answer: Outer thighs no difference after liposuction. What can be done? Thank you for your question and photos. Based on these photos and the preop markings by your surgeon, the results were expected. His/her markings are wrong. This is a common mistake I see in my practice from patients who had liposuction elsewhere. Your markings do not follow the normal buttock anatomy, but it transects it creating the deep depressions created by the surgery. The banana roll was over suctioned creating a droopy buttock in the side view photo. Although you still have some excess fat on the left side, but with the over suctioned areas above it, your surgeon transformed a more feminine buttock into a more masculine shape. The surgeon has to follow his/her markings placed on the patient in a standing position and abide by them during surgery. If the markings are not placed correctly, this is what you get. Lack of understand of the beautiful normal by the surgeon, cannot expect him/her to recreate it! Unfortunately, you will need further corrective surgery (not a touch up!) and hopefully not from your original surgeon. Luckily, you have enough fat superior to the buttock on the back and most likely on the abdomen to collect fat and reshape your torso into a more hourglass figure with the fat grafted back into the buttocks with some liposuction for shaping. These are more advanced procedures as opposed to the fat reduction liposuction that you got. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck. See attached the web reference. The patient also had a tummy tuck, but look at the back photo for comparison.

Answer: Liposuction results Dear CM8820, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Liposuction results That's actually a VERY good result with liposuction to me and looks dramatically improved. I would suggest you not consider revision surgery as you look very good overall following the procedure
