Numbness along lip lift incision after 2 years. Can anything help?

I had my liplift done 2 years ago this Jan 25. Along the incision i'm almost completely numb, to the point i cant feel it running or bleeding until it gets to my lip cupids bow. Can anything help or do i have to "suck it up" as a possible side affect??

Thank you for your question.   Unfortunately, this is permanent.  There is one nerve that comes from your nose to the middle of your upper lip and supplies sensation to the center of your upper lip.  The size of the area that is supplies can vary.  If this nerve was cut, which it easily can be when doing a lip lift, it will be permanently numb.  Sorry, but yes.  It is one of the side effects.
