Hi there I have never loved my "teeth" smile. I was considering veneers, but I feel a lip lift may actually be more of what I need. I also struggle with flared nostrils when I smile. I was thinking of perhaps looking into a lip lift with an alar base reduction, but it seems a bit scary. Just wanted to know your thoughts Thanks a ton

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.  You are an excellent candidate for a lip lift.  A lip lift may also narrow the base of the nose depending on how it is performed.

Before jumping into expensive, invasive surgical lip lifts and alar surgery, you might wish to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert to discuss the combined use of Botox microdroplets and a low viscosity, malleable, HA filler along the vermilion border for a nonsurgical lip lift and Botox microdroplets in the alar wings to diminish flaring with smiling.
