I regularly had my lips filled from 2016 until 2021. In 2021 a small nodule was discovered and my injector advised we dissolve as he didn’t like the feel or appearance of the nodule or the overall look my lips were going. So we dissolved and all was OK at follow up. Almost 3 years on now I want to restart filler but I am CONVINCED there’s still some filler left in my lips as the tissue in my lips can almost feel fatty when squeezed and the shape is bigger than pre filler. Will this be safe??

Hi. This is a bit unusual. I would consider fat graft to the lips. I do this routinely with my facelift or total face rejuvenation. I harvest fat from your stomach, process it and inject into the areas of concern. In your case it would be the lips. Fat take is about 50% so it has to be over...
Yes you can go have the superficial filler dissolved and begin again. When selecting an injector you want to make sure that the person you see for treatment is experienced. Review before/after photos of their work and discuss your concerns and questions.
