Why won't filler work for me? What are my other options? (photos)

Question

I am a 36 year old female 5' 4" 120lbs I have had 5mls in my lips in 2022/2023 most recenr was august 2023 and I have no change in lip size. I used different product and injectors without any change. Restalyne said I must process it too quickly when I called to file a complaint. What are my other options and is this normal? I have painfully small lips and it would really compliment my face to have a normal size mouth. Thank you it has been defeating.

It can happen. Permanent options like a Medialized corner lip lift, 3D lip lift and lower V-Y are possible to reshape and harmonize your lips.

Hi. This is a bit unusual. I would consider fat graft to the lips. I do this routinely with my facelift or total face rejuvenation. I harvest fat from your stomach, process it and inject into the areas of concern. In your case it would be the lips. Fat take is about 50% so it has to be over grafted. After 6-8 weeks you will receive the final result. I often graft 4-5mL of fat to the lips to get the best results. This can be done with local only in the office. Hope this helps.
