Hi. I had a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy in 2010 with implant reconstruction. Last year, I had my breast implants & capsules removed En Bloc, and I stayed flat. I've recently found out that they used Parietene mesh in my left side where I'm assuming there wasn't much pec major left? Why would they have used mesh? If I got the mesh removed, could the skin be simply closed over the top afterwards? Or would it stick to the chest wall/ribs & cause motility issues?
