Hello, I had my BA 8 years ago now. A couple of weeks ago when doing a pull up i felt a strain in my left breast. It’s not particularly painful at all but feels bruised when I press underneath the breast. I havnt thought much about it untill yesterday when I noticed the breast has become visibly higher and slightly more bigger than the right. It also feels firmer.
Answer: Change in breast shape HelloThankYou for the question and so sorry to hear that you are in discomfort. It can be a simple muscle strain which will improve with anti inflammatory and cold compress but I advise you to have an ultrasound scan to check the position and integrity of implants, capsule formation and collection of fluid. Kind regards

Answer: Muscle strain What you describe is likely an injury to your muscle from the exercise strain. Rest the area and use ibuprofen if not allergic. If no improvement over the next few days or if symptoms worsen, contact your surgeon or primary care physician for an evaluation.

Answer: Breasts You may have torn some scar tissue or capsule in your breast and now have excess fluid. I would suggest seeing a plastic surgeon and getting an ultrasound.

Answer: Swollen breast Dear mrsmmgriff, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Answered your own question I think you may well have answered your own question. It's likely that you have caused a little tear in the capsule of the implant while exercising as the capsule is stuck to the underlying/overlying muscle which has bled a little. You can use ice packs and a good support bra with anti-inflammatory medications while things settle down over the next two weeks. If the swelling/hardness remains or worsens after this time then see a plastic surgeon to ensure nothing else is amiss. good luck
