I have a really large philtrum that when I smile it leave me looking like a have a dark shaded area could filler help soften this or is my only option surgery. It makes me so paranoid if anyone could help. Please with suggestions.

Generally speaking, fillers do not have any side effects when combined with an MRI. The fillers may be seen on your MRI scan. I always recommend an at-home dermarolling (see link below) to my patients to keep overall skin texture healthy and a youthful look combined with filler. Best, Dr. Emer
