Can filler soften my really strong philtrum as it makes my mouth look awful when I smile? (Photo)

I have a really large philtrum that when I smile it leave me looking like a have a dark shaded area could filler help soften this or is my only option surgery. It makes me so paranoid if anyone could help. Please with suggestions.
